Extreme Duty Double Gate Eye 3/16" Wire. Machine Swage - J22-304EX

An interlocking gate eye is used at the opposite end of the gate hook as a "hinge" for the gate. The ultimate for safety and reliability, the "Extreme Duty" Offshore Series lifeline fittings were developed with the safety conscious offshore sailor in mind.

Unlike standard lifeline terminals, Extreme Duty swage terminals are mil spec with the entire length of the swage end machined out for maximum length of lifeline wire engagement.

• For 3/16" Wire
• 5/16" Bail, 3/8" Thread
• The eye on the standing part of the wire rope stops the lifeline from going slack when the gate is opened.

• Important! Threaded gate eyes must be assembled in the field with Loctite, or a similar thread locking product, to ensure the fitting does not become unscrewed during use.
