Nitronic 50 Straightened Rod
High-strength - Low-stretch - Corrosion-resistant.
Navtec rod rigging is made from cold drawn Nitronic-50, which
is a nitrogen, strengthened austenitic stainless steel. It
has higher concentrations of Chromium, Nickel, and Manganese
than 316 stainless steel, giving it significantly better corrosion
properties than 316 stainless.
