The
eye end only, the fork end only and the stud end only are
supplied
in 99% of the cases to customers that are buying a "adaptor
screw" and use these two parts in one end of an insulator
body to configure an insulator to fit their application.
They are also used when changing pin sizes, where there is
a choice of pin sizes for a particular size of wire. For example
5/16" wire can have an eye with a 1/2" or a 5/8" pinhole.
To change the pinhole size the terminal end does not have to
be removed from the wire, just screw on the eye end
with the desired pin hole size. |
