At Sailing Services splicing cordage is a skill, a science and an art. Splicing double braid, single braid, core to core splices, megabraid splices, wire to rope splice, stripped cover to core splices in all of the new high tech ropes from Samson, New England, Yale and other cordage suppliers.

The charges are estimates for use as a guide by professional riggers and their customers. Splicing assumes the use of new product and normal construction. Used rope is generally not spliceable. Some construction in double braid and single braid presents challenging problems due to tight braiding and irregular cross-over between core and cover.
